I think a lot of people are exactly where you are. We all knew before the surgery that it wouldn't be the magic bullet we wanted, but we didn't realize that it is really NOT the magic bullet we still want.

I am there daily. It is really a fabulous place to learn and get support.
I'm a 30-year old chick who's been across the Atlantic and back again three times over. I recently moved back to the good ol' US of A after finishing up grad school in the UK. The journey there and back has had many twists and turns but I am learning to love my life, no matter what the universe decides to throw at me. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, the outdoors, hiking, swimming, traveling (whenever and wherever life allows me to go), music, reading, art, photography, and just about anything else creative. I've been told I am a decent writer and find it rather cathartic so here I am. I have two blogs; one about my life in general as I work on figuring out just where it is going and the other is about all things weight loss surgery related. I had RNY Gastric Bypass surgery in August 2009 and am happy to say it was the best thing I've EVER done for myself (though the journey has not always been an easy one). So have a look around and please comment and share!
